Hearthstone: Spell Power Rogue

Hello everybody, Geek Generation here. Sorry i haven’t been blogging much. I got ill, some kind of pain in the foot? heel? ankle? Anyway, it was so painful i couldn’t even stand. Any weight i put on my leg was excruciating. Doctor doesn’t know what it is. Maybe it’s arthritis -_- Anyway, i got a prescription of strong pain killers that also works against inflammation and i’m all better now.

I had a quest for 5 Rogue wins, so i tried redoing the Rogue deck. I didn’t know what it was, it’s no longer draw a rogue. Anyway, i figured that since Rogues has such an awesome arsenal of spells that do 1 damage, won’t it be great to play it with spell power?

After several iterations, this was the deck list that won my 5 games for the quest.

2 x Backstab
1 x Deadly Posion
2 x Eviscerate
2 x Shiv
2 x Fan of Knives
2 x Assassinate

1 x Acidic Swamp Ooze
1 x Bloodmage Thalnos
1 x Ironbeak Owl
1 x Kobold Geomancer
1 x Sunfury Protector
2 x Earthen Ring Farsser
2 x SI:7 Agent
2 x Gnomish Inventor
1 x Spellbreaker
2 x Azure Drake
1 x Feugen
1 x Loatheb
1 x Stalagg
1 x Stampeding Kodo
1 x The Black Knight

Kobold_Geomancer

Kobold Geomancer is, without a shadow of a doubt, the star of the deck. In atleast one game, i was just holding on to all my spells, playing Gnomish Inventors and distractions and hoping to draw into the kobold. Once i drew the kobold, the feeling was like the entire deck was activated.

After playing with the deck, i figured that the second Kobold Geomancer is a must have for the deck. But there doesn’t seem to be anything to take out for it 😦

In fact, sometimes, i prefer the Kobold to the Bloodmage. Sure the Bloodmage is a legendary and replaces itself. But Geomancer can, on occasion, stay on the board longer than Bloodmage providing more spell power good stuff for one more turn.

Next up. i’m gonna try to fit Kobold Geomancer into the Shaman deck : D Geek Generation out.
